If you are talking about Aunty - more like an ambulance. Rocks in her head? Has she been reading that Terry Pratchett again and got confused with Music with Rocks??

Evening everyone.

Dull and cold here, with a promise of wind and rain tomorrow, getting drier and milder by Wednesday!

Spent two and a half hours with my new bosses this morning. They seem nice people but their feet aren't under the table yet, so I will reserve judgement!

Been trying to get my head round 'deliverables and targets' all afternoon and didn't understand much of it, or at least where my tasks fitted into it, so it will be a fun 1:1 at my monthly review tomorrow. Perhaps they will give me my P45 and I can put my feet up then!!

Morning all, we have a weather forecast today of 23 degrees and 29 by Thursday. Looks like one last gasp of summer coming our way.

I have only a week and a bit until the holidays. Will be a good opportunity to make a start on some of the big cleaning jobs around the place. The storage shed needs a clean out. Are the boakins available for a couple of days. I could use a few of them as pickerup and put-er downers. The shed is a really good place to stay out of if you don't like creepy crawlies. Spiders hold team meetings there, and millipedes, earwigs, slaters, cockroaches and beetles patrol the under(box)world against human intervention.

Off to view a couple more houses for the blonde one this evening. Need to take notes so I can accurately describe the layout, decor and potential of each place. She is cheesed off that most of the inspections are while she is at work. Sometimes I don't think she quite trust my judgement!!

Sending you a good few Boakins to help you Aunty LOL. They make good window squeegees too LOL

It's dry and windy here LG, got to go out in it soon - not sure if it's worth doing my hair.

Maz, I was on that site all day yesterday, didn't get anything else done. I have to go shopping today, so I have to make sure I don't look at the site first............ or we'll all starve.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 5 Apr 2011 11:14

What site are you all excited about. Will I be able to find my OHs grandfather's marriage there. (Should tell you the interesting gentleman never did marry - strewth the amount of time I wasted looking for his nuptials). Please do share your time wasters.

Beeeautiful day here. Warm sunny 23 degrees. Warmer and sunnier tomorrow. Hot on Friday. And then thud back to earth with rain for the footy on Saturday.

LG I see your harmonizing hasn't improved while I've been away. Is Arsenal still playing soccer with the big boys or have they been relegated to the next level down??

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 5 Apr 2011 11:51

Hi Aunty, Arsenal are still playing with the big boys LOl. Though they really need to buck up to hold onto place in Premiership. My singing don't get no better LOL.

Did you see how the win Australia had over Germany in a friendly match was hailed by the press over here. One would think we can now win the next world cup with players hands tied behind their backs. Well they don't use their hands for playing soccer so that might be an option.

Afternoon! Been out at work this morning with OH. Someone said that Morris*n's do an all day breakfast, which got OH's taste buds going lol. Not being in the mood to drive over there, we went to lunch somewhere closer. (down the pub lol)

Not sure about the recent football Auntie, but one of my fav TV progs has been cancelled for a match this evening. Grrr. Did I tell you BM is going to the Emirates with the girlfriend? Well, he did drag her to a Rugby match.

The website Maz was on about was to do with the geographical area known as the Weald - sort of Sussex and parts of Kent..
Re the house hunting - can't she phone and make private arrangements to view???

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 5 Apr 2011 18:37

Oh DET lucky BM. I'll take his place if he does not want to go LOL. Saw in the newspaper Cesc Fabregas had a road accident oh boy I do wish it was my car he hit up the A*** ! LOL. Fortunately no one was hurt. If I had known he was travelling to the practice pitch could have driven down and got in his way Sigh..........

Disappearing now to find something to eat. Might be back later if OH doesn't want his Spider Solitaire fix.

Spider Solitaire!! Oh does that ever bring back memories. I played that game every night for about three years. I was younger then of course. I could get it out, sometimes. Then I discovered "bubbles" which caught my attention for several odd hours, and that lasted until I discovered family history research. Hmmm wondering the worst of the three evils!!

Private viewing, yes that is an option which she will probably take up when she narrows the list down to about half a dozen. As I said before it is interesting seeing how others live.

Weald information. Hmm I don't think I have any ancestors in that part of the world. You will giggle to know I am probably going to have to re-learn all my UK geography. The ancient brain has not retained much of it. But I do remember that Sussex and Kent are down the bottom.

Edit. Oh LG so sooooooooorry I spoiled your KQ aria!!! Not!
