Yes i was encouraged by the staff support .my new working life is waiting to see if the council cuts will affect it but at the moment looks promising .I have told personell thta i want a full time position when one appears that is suitable within the company there are other services so will see

From Berwick-upon-Tweed to St. Buryan, Penzance it takes 12 hours 5 mins on the A1, or 9 hours 58 mins on the M5 and M6, or 9 hours 35 mins on the M5.

Morning, yes we are back safe and sound but very tired last night . I fell asleep after my last posting on here.LOL. It was the 257 steps up to the whispering gallery that did it or maybe all the talking we did LOL

Morning - I didn't fall asleep - OH decided he wanted to stay on the desktop. Was it really 257 steps? No wonder my calves are stiff! lol

It sure was DET it's in the leaflet with the floor plans in. My legs are a bit stiff now but I am sitting down having a bit of a rest before the Halloween Disco later.

We did as I had promised/threatened and went for a drive in our locality, trying to find scenic views of the autumnal leaves, and managed to get lost lol. Well, not completely, but its amazing the number of rural areas within 5 miles that we are not familiar with. Some good photos - some not so good, but it was an interesting experiment. If its sunny in the morning (and we are up early enough) we migh try to get a view across the valley to the woodlands there.

The worst of my hard work is over for a while. I've packed them all off to the conference today and am running the department for two days on my own. Peace and quiet at long last, although plenty of work to do!

It was manic today, so I am tired tonight and off to bed as soon as Muffy has been out.
