Hmmmm DET I will have to look into that to fix my problem if I can work out how to do it. It is only the Ancestry tree that is affected as the tree on here has not been updated for ages.

Just realised it was Aunty's Birthday at the beginning of this week so I seranaded her and wished her a belated Happy Birthday from all of us.

Hope DET's idea works for your tree LG, it's a nightmare when you've made a mistake and have to try and get it put right.

YG, I've put my washing out but I think I've wasted my time, it's just hanging there limp.

Get someone's profile page up
Go to Edit
Along the line which says Vital Information > Relationships
On the right of the page say for a child, is an X Remove.
if you do that, than you can detach them, but not delete.

You can also add extra spouses, alternative parent and children from that page, either by creating a new person, or selecting one from the list of people already on your tree.

Hmm. What I have is one person with his parents and siblings and spouses etc on one page,and on the other I have him with his spouse and dozens of relatives on another. I really need to merge the two but I don't quite know how to do this.

Have you ended up with 2 Joe Bloggs? You might have to delete the one before he is married. Check on the full list of people thingy to see if you have 2 bods of the same name/parentage/yob.

if you have an automatic 'remember password' for A, you can open it up on 2 tabs/windows. Would that help you to compare? But don't try to work on them both at the same time!

Um unless your tree is private, do you want to send me details so I can get into it, or an url?

My tree is private . Not sure how you would find it unless you can find it by name. my problem is Thomas Beath and Thomas x Beath. I marked him with an x so I could try and sort out the branches

morning all well the film was good well recomend it ,my surprise was a treat at chiquitos we went home to get a chines but we were not hungry so just sat and nattered had a lovely day and the rain kept off though it is making up for it today .
we have new neighbours am hoping that last night banging at 3am is just a one off cos I did not get much sleep lol
both cats are under the duvet even the baby does not like rain lol

Windy here today, but not raining thank goodness, although more forecast for tomorrow. Been a good girl and done all the h********. Going to relax for a while and try to do some more of my tree.
