NIte DET it can't be worse than today methinks xx

Morning all
i have new neighbours and they dont seem to keep the same hours we do lol i have not seen them but we have heard them .

Oh Maz that does not sound too good. We a really lucky I have got great neighbours normal noise at normal hours and not very much of that.

Oh dear. Perhaps you can invite them in for a cuppa at the weekend/after work and tactfully discuss the noise. Perhaps they are 'doing the place up' and only have the evenings. We had to virtually gut our 2nd property, frequently in the evening after work. I had a coffee with the neighbours one day and was really shocked at the way the noise OH was making at the other side of the house, which travelled via the plumbing pipes. And I think we'd have beeen the neighbours from hell when the offspring were younger!

Chin up LG. To 'ell with the diet - have a sticky cake or someother comfort food.

I am ok today DET thanks. No sticky cakes for me I am determined to do it this time LOL. I am just off to the kitchen to make Bannock for 120 girls for the Thinking Day do tomorrow. I will be sick of the sight of food by evening LOL

Thanks for the heads up. If we see a white spectre flying around on a broomstick, we'll know the flour got away and that it's you - lol

Poor little thread was right down the bottom of page 2, saved it's life just before it fell off the end.

Thats me DET very ghostly looking, flour everywhere LOL

Hope you are all okay.

The latest in the saga.

Our water was turned off in the middle of the night.

So at 4-00 am, I was trying to get as much water out of the taps into saucepans, bowls etc for the morning to use.

The emergency stand pipe had been put at the end of the road.

So folk around here woke up to no water in the morning.
And very happy they all were about this.

Water was turned back on in the afternoon, so slowly returning to normal.

Blimey, its all go in this house lately.

Oh Dear ---sigh---- Well, that *ought* to be the end of your run of bad luck. Hope you don't try to wash a load of light colours too soon...they'd come out slightly muddy looking. Says she, with the voice of experience.
There was planned work slightly further away and muggins forgot!
