Morning UK and Evening Canada!

Did the saucepan and wooden spoon work Maz? lol Have a good day and hope its not too misty or cold at the coast............and lots of things to do. Everything seems to shut up shop over winter in the SE. Those poor babies, having their teddys pinched by a feline - it'll give them a life long complex!!!

Although not a footie fan, I'm glad that Spurs didn't get the Stadium. What a waste of resources if they had torn it down. That was probably the deciding factor. Lots of Rugby games on terrestial TV today - hope none co-incide with 'my' programmes.

To all the Guiders worldwide, have a good Thinking Day Celebrations.

As for setting up Brownies do not have hardly any and the Rainbows,well!!!! Needless to say I am leaving that to someone else to pull their weight !!!!

No you're not LOL. Just come back to see if the Throne was empty! Maz must have been knocked out for the evening by all that sea salt air and...what has happened to YG?

Glad you and your co-conspirator survived the afternoon.

I'd been up my tree and found as OSS Officer captured 'aiding Slovakian insurgents' and executed in a Nazi prison camp in Austria. 'Twas quite a shock at first.

LaGooner Report 12 Feb 2011 23:11

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 12 Feb 2011 23:14

Found anything good on your disc? Don't suppose it covers N London does it?
Do you think Yidarmylass has rellies she could persuade to go round Edmonton Cem for me??? I know there is at least one private grave there, and am hoping others may be inscribed on it. They're missing off the gro - most annoying.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 12 Feb 2011 23:18

We are supposed to be going down when the weather gets better. Tell me the name and date approx and I will take a look for you. Found quite a lot of OH's family which I was not sure about. It will take me weeks to look some branches of the family up as they are huge.
Which church/cmetery is it you are trying to find ?

+++DetEcTive+++

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 12 Feb 2011 23:25

Ooo...that would be wonderful if you could. I know one grave number - no make that 2- and been trying to find the email addy for the Cem to see if they will do look ups, either for free or a charge. They don't seem to want to be found lol When you've fixed a date - let me know!!!

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 12 Feb 2011 23:29

I sure will. Just compiling a list of my local ones to go and photograph when the weather brightens a bit. We had a ride out the other week and looked at the villages around here as Yidarmylass had not seen them. Will be going around a few more yet,the ones we did not get time to do.

+++DetEcTive+++

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 12 Feb 2011 23:37

It's super when you find one, isn't it? There is one in our nearest town cem - with dod both for him and his 2 wives. Hope Yidarmylass enjoys the trips out - OH comes along on sufferance lol At least it gives him an opportunity to play at camera man. :-)

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 12 Feb 2011 23:43

Sounds like my OH LOL. We have some really pretty little villages around here and I love seeing them myself even though I have been many times in the 29 years we have lived here.

+++DetEcTive+++

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 12 Feb 2011 23:50

Don't think I'll get OH outside the door before the temp rises above 15c....and it's sunny...and it isn't muddy under foot! By which time it will be main exam season and we will be like ships which pass in the night.
