Morning all - LGs footie is (I think) pushing the Rugby from Beeb 1 to 2 today. We've discussed why football is more popular.........you can kick a ball around on any surface, but need a relatively soft one to play Rugby. Don't worry about the Rules Elizabeth - just oogle the players, lol

Glad you had a good day Maz - despite no cinema. What were you hoping to see? We are waiting for free membership cards to arrive which give us reduced tickets on a Tuesday before we go again.

We're on our way to Wembley. my knees have gone all Trembley LOL LOL.
Been out in the garden all morning and just grabbing a quick lunch,flying to the shops and then guess what. I will be in front of the TV all kitted out correctly, phone of the hook, doorbell ignored and hopefully cheering so loud the neighbours will want to lock me in Nutlodge !!!!!

DET, thank you for the offer. I'm sorted with LGs help. I have joined 'the other', but only on a pay as you view at the moment. I had to, to download the census records you found for me, so thought 'what the heck' as long as it is in moderation. It has actually provided some really useful information.

As for troublesome Nellie, I think we are going to have to resort to buying a birth certificate, although Derek is still searching.

I think I have located the rellie from Oz that visited my brother and I some years ago. I did e-mail him once, but didn't get a reply. He works for the Oz government and I have found two e-mail addresses so will try one first and then the other if I don't get a reply.

Done the ironing and prepped dinner and it has stopped raining now, so might attempt to prune the hydrangeas and take up some dead stuff! No footie for me >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.. sorry LG, but enjoy the match!

We got dragged out for walk aka route march in a country park. No time to stop and smell the roses, assuming there were any - lol. We're more strollers than they are, but could cover the same distance. Think OH was more put out that they didn't want to visit the cafe before we came home. At least he is now settled in front of the Rugby - Scotalnd V Ireland - and routing for the underdogs.
