Evening everyone. No snow here either, but plenty of hoar frost. Had problems getting the car door open this morning.

Another hectic day, but some of it enjoyable being pampered with feet and hair treatments!! Then back to the drudge of shopping!! At long last finished the pressies and been to the supermarket and done the food shopping apart from last minutes bits.

Thank you for your Christmas wishes Derek. I hope you have a lovely Christmas and happy and healthy New Year. If you would like to move a little further north I can keep you really busy in South Yorkshire with my fh!!

I don't want to escape the padded cell!! I am quite happy there. It is a very suitable place for me lol!!

Evening, snow still on the ground here and driving is awful. Have been in nearly all day which is ver unusual for me.

Can just about extend to South Yorkshire..and certainly into Notts,where i live.....so if you need help.use my Derbyshire Thread....
I might make a formal application to join the Asylum after Christmas, because i know its going to drive me mad!!

Heathrow was on the news again last night. A itty bit of snow and ice & you close for the holidays? Sheesh AND they loss their heating What the airport forgot to pay their heating bill?!?

The chaos at Heathrow is disgusting and is the laughing stock of the international community. What an embarrassment!

All those poor stranded passengers who daren't move away from the airport because nobody is telling them when their flight 'might' take off.

Morning all - Condolences to Frog and the family. It's always a shock when one of your own age group passes unexpectedly. Makes one realise that one should live for the day.

We had some more overnight, but it looks as if there is a thaw at the moment. I was very brave yesterday and went outside to the compost heap, lol. Totally agree about Heathrow, supposedly one of, if not the most, busiest airports in the world. They said they had spent Half a million £ on equipment, but obviously not enough! It seems to be de-icing machinery for the planes that is in short supply.

Hope 'they' sort out the servor problem LG. Who is your provider? Our speed has dropped again, but is usable, so I don't know whether to complain again and get them to reset at the exchange, or let it be.

Sorry to hear of froggy's bad news Maz, it is a shock to the system when it's someone near your own age.

We haven't had any extra snow either but it's forecast for tomorrow. It was -14°C this morning.

Please pass my condolences to Froggy, Maz. It is very sad at any time, but particularly so at ths time of year.

Two and half days to go at work. I am really ready for the break!

oo er look at you YG glamorous thanks for your messages the whole management team are in shock but with 60 residents to think about they will tick over but i think there will be some cuts in the workforce and also froggy may have to find somewhere ele to live however he will have plenty of time i think
he will have a chance of a council house probably but the reason he was offered this place was to help financially for a couple of years give him a chance to turn around

lol it sounds about right i have tomorrow with out any clients so am doing errands and the bedrooms .

Bedrooms will be on Thursday methinks as I have loads to do in the kitchen still. I will be out at little ones Carol concert at nursery on Thursday afternoon so I will be making sure I will have a pocket full of tissues OH Bless.

thats what christmas is though ,i have some support shifts in so i am going to get as much as i can tomorrow ,tadpole and froggy will be here christmas eve but froggy will be on call ,fingers crossed he will not be needed

Got the whole brood over 3 days. Total of 16, less me and OH !!! Keep saying we will go away for Xmas and let someone else do the work LOL. I do hope Froggy does not get called out.
