That would do for now LG!!

I hate to be a spoil sport but I am off to bed. I am absolutely shattered after yesterday and another long day today.

A long, good night's sleep will do me the world of good!

Sleep well LG and hope there's no snow overnight for you x

Morning Maz. We have had snow overnight here too, but only a couple of inches. I have to go out to post an important bid document for work so am wondering whether to drive to the local post office or use my bus pass and go into town to the main post office and do some food shopping whilst there.

I am clinging to the hope that no-one is going to hit my fence!! I would like it stay upright for a while longer!!

Morning everyone.

YG, it might be better not to drive today.

We've had loads of snow during the night, it's soooooo deep, even RMS wouldn't laugh at it...........well, maybe a titter.

Take care everyone.

Morning one and all, well we have had a dusting overnight with a sky that looks as though there is more today.
Don't drive anywhere if you can find an alternative YG. It is not worth the risk

Morning - sounds awful for Pauline and the Northerners - do take care. The weather advice is to stay indoors/off the roads in the NE. Although they tend to be scare mongers, perhaps they are right in this instance. I thought we may have had a dusting, but after putting my glasses on, it turns out to have been a heavy frost LOL. PC got home safely from her Night Shift, so that's OK.
Its not unusual to have snow about 28 Nov, but in the SE it only lasts a few days.

Take care, where ever you are.

It took me a good twenty minutes to clear the snow from the car and I drove very steadily to the local post office. Made it safe and sound.

The sun came out and the main roads are clear now but have just been down to sons house and the side roads are absolutely treacherous. Worse than a skating rink. I am in to stay now and keep warm hopefully, settling down for a night in front of the tv.

Son is at Old Trafford watching the footie. Apparently there is no snow there so I hope he has a good drive back.

I might just get comfy in the throne room. I've brought the tv down from the bedroom at Nut Lodge so I can watch it in comfort.

Got a couple of boakins round my neck to help me keep warm.

Please feel free to bring me a cuppa if you're passing by lol!!

Good for you Maz, taking it a little easier.

I have been in the loft getting the unmentionables down. I won't be putting anything up for a couple of weeks, but if I hadn't got them down today I probably wouldn't have bothered!

Glad you got home safely YG - and a Lotto win to boot!

Did anyone get some of those foot grips off RMS from the beginning of the year? I reckon they'd come in handy about now.

With Froggy snowed in, sounds as if Maz can have a peaceful day tomorrow as well :-)
