Well, here we go again.......................snowed in!!

Spent ages clearing a path down to the road this morning but the day centre rang to say the roads were too bad, so they can't get here for him.

The care worker said that even the main roads haven't been gritted, she drove here in second gear.

has anyone seen those black and white calenders that children put on pictures .i would like to buy some for tuesday
i found them on line but too late for a delivery maybe a pound shop or smiths

Enjoying the snow Pauline? The cold snap according to the BBC is expected to last for the next 2 weeks. Deep joy. Only frost and ice here overnight, but pretty parky outside during the day. Temp hovered around freezing.

Maz most of the stationers do them and I have seen them in the pound shops too. Take it they are for Xmas present craft ???? LOL.

Just fitted the skis to ArsenalArkRoyal and sending it your way. It is cold enough for snow here but no sign yet although I was told that a town about 6 miles away saw a little flurry last night but it did not settle.

Rymans or Partners? Staples! You could find them in a phone book and give them a ring. There used to be a chain called Stationery Box, if they are still around.

lol thanks will nosey out on saturday weather permitting it is so cold that the stat on the heating has kicked in while i was at work with the frost setting

Don't even mention it. I have had one h*ll of a day and when I finally got back to the office to pick my car up at 6.35 two of the team were still there printing out papers that needed to go out tonight, so I finally left at 8pm, having left home at 7.30 this morning. I am NOT a happy bunny!!

Err no!!

Four hours from Donny to KX!! Broken down train south of Peterborough. Train I should have been on was delayed first for 23 mins, then 34 mins, then 37 mins, but later trains were arriving in Donny on time. Then just minutes before it was due they decided to tell us that it was no longer going to KX and terminating at Peterboro'!! Eventually got another one and then got stuck in the queue of trains at Grantham and waited there for 50 minutes. Was at Donny station at 8.30 and got to meeting at 1.30. It finished at 4, so two and half hours plus almost seven hours travelling!!

Edit: I did remember to throw a brick at a certain place as I went past >>>>> twice!!

Ooooooo YG You shouldn't take you agro out on my poor lads LOL. My goodness that was such a stressful day for you,come and sit on the throne. I have plumped up the cushions for you and there is a nice hot cuppa and biccies laid out on the side table.

Ooooh thank you LG! That is just what I needed! Especially the plump cushions. I am in desperate need of those!!!

It is lovely and warm too. I am going to snuggle down and get comfy to eat my biccies and drink my cuppa!
