If it's any consolation, I've 11 lists of student and exams to correlate for next week ....and teeny tiny print! It isn't even as if I get paid for it, but it makes it easier and quicker when we set out the exam papers/extra time indicators etc.

i is sort of awake here lol the Tadpole has a meeting today to start applying for unis Oxford or Cambridge are his first choices lol

Hope Tadploe gets lots of advise re his application. It would be great if he gets into Oxbridge. If he can, he ought to do some sort of voluntary/social activity to show how 'Rounded' he is. As an old hand at this, can I suggest he and Frog actually visit the Unis he is think of applying to? Some may sound great on paper, but the ambiance/facilities are... ahem...rubbish.

Ooo - keep your snow oop Norf, thank you very much! Lets hope that it doesn't hang around for so long this time. Hope Tadpole's school gets someone in to practise interview techniques with them...that seems to be the down fall for a lot of State School applicants. Of course, if he attends a Public School, he will be in a better position.

Don't do it anymore DET!! No room in the kitchen for sugarcraft, no spare time and if I bake I would have to eat it all, so it's a no-no!!

That's a shame YG. You could always look out for fundraising acivities and at least bake some scrummy cakes even if you haven't the space for fancy decorations.

aww cant we share all things its the fine stuff ,but sporadic , Tadpole goes to the school in Durham to be at ,which is almost private ,he got in there because of his abilities .so we will see he is good at the personal statements which they all want these days
i love cake by the way my fav is date and walnut or carrot cake yum
