DJ, do you know about the freereg site? They have transcriptions on there for baptisms in Langford up until 1812 - these are the only ones for Hill or Hills. They all have parents Thomas and Sarah: |

Yes, that may be possible.. A late baptism because JAMES HILLS shows up in the censuses and the age determines his birth year.. He may have been baptised late yes... |

Looking at the baptisms that safc posted, it looks as if they tended to wait and have their children baptised together. William was 3 when he was baptised. |

Sarah gives her YOB as 1808/9 which mean she was 17/18 in 1827; b 1819 she would have been too young to marry in 1827. I wonder if there has been an error in transcribing the year of the baptisms. You could try asking at your nearest Mormon FHC to view the film: |
