I am near the end of a long week ,have a client later then youth ,i went to Froggy for tea last night i did get back late though!!! we had a power cut here so went to bed
.The cost cuts are going to affect our bus services here all the local routes with subsidised runs are going to be hit Froggy lives on the outside of crook where it will be affected the bus drivers are going to lose their jobs too .such a shame a lot of folk work in nursing homes that are on these routes and will struggle to get in to work at week ends

Morning all. start a protest Maz. We did that here about 10 years ago as our bus route served the kids for school and a lot of people for work. admitted the buses were cut down but at least they still run at the important times.

Morning - one session done and another this afternoon.

I'd imagine the school run buses would stay, but OP Home shifts don't fit in with that. Perhaps the Homes could run a shuttle bus charging the bus fare for its staff....or a private company could do that. We have a timetabled service (now run by Aviva) which was started off by a private company when our local but large shopping centre opened about 10 years ago. Serves the retail staff and the customers. Mind you, last bus home leaves there at 7pm, which is a bit too early as the shops don't shut until 9.
