HI DET I have now got the right hump with this messing about. It is so slow and also won't always load what I am requesting, also locking up the computer. Off up the wooden hill now and hoping it is better tomorrow. Nite,Nite all catch you sometime tomorrow if this site lets me.

It's very mild here Maz, went out to close the garage door (after hubby went to work) at 5.45 and it was like a summer morning (apart from the fact that it was pitch black). Every other morning this week we've had a layer of ice on everything at that time of morning.

I've still got a load of letters instead of a face.

The worst thing with the site now is that I can't go back a page to see what I've missed. Have any of you tried to move back one page from the one you're on?

Pauline to go back a page use numbers at top right where it will say Page 1 of 499 then press 2 it will take you back.

That's just it LG, it won't, it just stays on the same page.

I'm on last post first (Post Date), mine says...page 1 of 369 and my page numbers on view are 361 - 369, and it won't let me go on to any of them.

No matter what number page I click on...........it just stays on this page.

If I click off 'Chronicles' and then click on it again.....I'm back to the first page of the thread.

Morning all - Have you sorted the page turning out yet? Like you I'm last post first ie page 1 of 369. But if I click page 2, it takes me to the previous page as per normal.

Still don't like the X minutes/hours ago, although suppose it might just help those in other time zones. But not if they don't realize or appreciate the time difference. Its very easy to misclaculate (says one who woke eldest up at 3 am - lol )

Oh, it's just changed, I've got page 1 - 10 now, and if I click on page 2............it actually takes me there!!!!!

I might get my face back by tomorrow...........LOL



Edit: Just changed back again, I've now got page 361 - 370 and it won't let me move to another page.................aaaarrrrrgh!!

It seems to be working ok for me Pauline, or am I just lucky? Still not used to it yet though, and the reply box is now at the bottom of the screen! It is very confusing for an elderly person with no brain cells like me!

Oooh no it's not working fine! My message posted successfully and then took me to pages 369 or whatever it was!

It'll all come out in the wash (she says hopefully) I've been reading a thread on another board - seems the problem differs on what type of computer you use ie Lap top or Desk top and possibly the operating system.

You think you have problems with your name? Cynthia who lurks usually on the research boards is completely nameless - there is absolutely nothing in the name box on her posts...and she didn't have twiddly bits!!!

edit - YG you have to click on the 'post date' again once you've submitted. Confusing I know.
