OK, now I understand Sarah Handley's mother Hannah married Charles Smith in 1851 and that's why the Smiths were the grandparents of little Eliza. Also explains why Sarah and Robert were daughter and son-in-law of the Smiths on the 61 census. |

Looking at the image for 1851 I think that Mary is 10 (it's not very clear) which then gives Charles in1841 |
