Thanks safc. Honeymoon baby! Addison snr was baptised at Holy Cross, Bobbington. Illegitimate son of Margaret. The variations on Mincher are a real hindrance. |

Morning, thanks very much Argyll. I think you are probably right him changing his name to Joseph and using his wife's maiden name, Evans. I suspect it was to keep one step ahead of the law bearing in mind his earlier imprisonment. As for Sarah Ann's marriage, I was confusing it with Addison/Joseph sister Sarah Ann who was born 1839. I had seen a Joseph on the census returns but disregarded it straight away and of course Betsy = Elizabeth. I can now press on further. Take care. |
