Find Ancestors

I feel at a loss..... My Aunt who has now passed away told me my G. grandparents were Charles Gladden(28.12.1855) and Annie Tattersall(1856), so i searched for them though all the census's and with your help to, happy with my search i then sent off for my Grandmother's birth cert. Annie Gladden (1884) to get the right date and now it has come back with Charles gladden and Annie Hubball, I have found a census 1871 with Annie on but i cannot find a date for a marriage cert. I don't know what to do now nor who to look for.

Thanks for info, this is the same as i have found, as for Annie Gladden 1884 this is the second cert. i have sent for to get the right one, could there be another Annie with a birth cert. with the same year and that Hubball is not the right person

Maybe she was married twice?

I have found this marriage which may relate?- I will explore further.

So that baptisim record I posted is the correct one for this family

You need to get the marriage certificate for Charles and Annie to double check whether she was married before

I cant see anything at the moment that explains why Hubble is down as her maiden name

Could be the registra wrote down the wrong maiden name

or

Could be that Annie was born a Hubble and was adopted into a Tattersel family

I cannot find a birth for the Mary Hubbart in the 1871, but there is a birth for a Mary Ann Tattersall, who I cannot find in 1881

Hi, I have the birth cert. for Annie Tattersall 11 sept 1856 parents Wilson thomas and Harriet formerly Birchall, they lived at 6 hulls place st lukes Middx.
And i found a Annie Hubball 1857 St luke cenus 1871 parents are George and Harriet Hubball address is 26 Leonard st that i can read.

That is where the Hubball comes in !!

I think I am getting confused here!

Harriet Tattersall (nee Birchall) married George Hubball in 1890.

Harriet was a widdow - George was a batchelor.

Therefore the 'Annie' Tattersall born from her first marriage could well have used the name Huball from her new 'Step father'.

So... they are the same person???

Is that what we were looking for or did you know that already?
