i have found her record on GR but i didn't find the way to find her children or other close family. i am not her family member. i just have an item which belongs to her, with this lady's name on it, that my parents got many years back in france. i thought to return it to them…
there is an inscription not he item saying: this item was given to madge stanyon on her 21st birthday, in 1936, PETERBOROUGH."
so i initiated a search based on this information…

Search births and baptisms
enter surname "Birch" and then Stanyon in the "Optional keywords

You will get 2 births

Then Search marriages and input the birth names that you found and you will find a marriage for each.

You can repeat this for further generations but hopefully will perhaps be able to find those people still alive now in the right area in the phone book or on 192.com
